Matthew Lillard addresses whether he is returning for Scream 7. Lillard played Stu Macher in the 1996 original version of the movie Scream. Stu is a friend and accomplice to Billy Loomis, and a secondary antagonist in the film, who goes on a murder spree along with Billy. In Scream (2022) Billy returned as a hallucination, appearing in the franchise years after he was killed off. Scream VI was put out the following year, and now, Scream 7 is in development.
