Daisy Ridley has implied that Star Wars: New Jedi Order could be the beginning of a new series. The upcoming Star Wars: New Jedi Order, which does not have an official title announced, is being written by Steven Knight and has Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy attached to direct. It is set to feature the return of Ridley’s sequel trilogy character Rey, who debuted in 2015’s The Force Awakens and has not appeared in the live-action franchise since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker, which is the most recent feature-length installment in the series at the time of writing.
