A Court of Silver Flames is a great addition to Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns & Roses book series it has a lot of the angsty appeal of fan-favorite A Court of Mist & Fury, following Nestas struggle with depression and conflicted romance with Cassian. However, her understandably traumatized and embittered point of view also comes with a heavy bias that puts Feyre and Rhysand in a negative light. Maass goal in the book is to move away from Feyre and Rhysands story and focus on other characters. However, it seems executed prematurely.
