DC Comics‘ brand-new Absolute Universe has already gotten off to an incredible start, taking classic heroes and subverting their conventions in daring ways. From a working-class Batman to a Superman without the Kent family, each character differs from their normal status quo. The DC Universe is changing, and so too is its power-scaling.
