Deadpool & Wolverine is arguably the MCU‘s biggest crossover event since Avengers: Endgame, with plenty of cameos throughout. Deadpool had his live-action debut in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009, but it wasn’t until 2016 that the character was fully realized. On both occasions, the actor who played the role was Ryan Reynolds, a superfan of the Merc with the Mouth, and Reynolds was even referenced in a 2004 comic by Deadpool to describe the character’s appearance.
