The Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos defended her suitor Guy Gansert, stating that she never saw that side of him, after it came to light that his ex-wife had filed a restraining order against him before the show. Guy is now one of Joans final three men on The Golden Bachelorette season 1. Guy’s ex-wife, Heidi, filed for a temporary protective order against Guy in October 2021, stating that he physically tried to threaten her and motioned like he was going to shoot her with his hand shaped like a pistol, but she voluntarily dismissed the filing one month later.
