The Sims 4‘s Life & Death expansion pack will be released later this month on Halloween itself, October 31. The expansion pack is the first to be released since EA’s shock announcement that there is in fact no The Sims 5 in the works, and that The Sims 4 will remain the core game in the franchise. While many players expressed their disappointment at this decision after a decade of what many in the gaming community describe as a lackluster gaming experience compared to the rest of The Sims franchise, Life & Death quickly piqued interest in The Sims 4 again.
